Pruning for healthy plants

Fall is the perfect time to give your plants a little TLC (So lets get those “suckers”!).  Pruning is a great way to encourage healthier plants for next year. Join us for an engaging talk with Brinton. Learn what to prune, what to leave, and how proper cuts can improve plant health, shape, and flowering. We will cover tools, tips, and care for popular plants like hydrangea, lilacs, and blueberries. Bring your pruning questions. This is a free informational class no clippers required. Macrame workshop with Sarah from Chickpea Creative

In this class we will learn a few basic macrame knots and how to put them together to make a unique and functional plant hanger. All materials will be provided, and you will come away with a knowledge of basic knots and how to use them to create your own macrame hanger.  You will also gain an understanding of different types of macrame cord and what kind to use for your purposes (there are a lot out there!).  Macrame hangers make excellent gifts and of course you can never have just one in your own home so this is a skill that you will be glad to acquire!
