Join us for an engaging class with Kelly Orzel, author of "The Backyard Gardener". A horticulturist and Master Gardener with decades of hands-on experience, Kelly brings a passion for sustainable, organic growing and a practical, approachable style to gardeners of all levels.  
In this informative session on vegetable gardening, Kelly will share essential techniques for creating a thriving backyard garden.
Whether you’re just getting started or looking to improve your harvest, this presentation will offer inspiration, practical tips, and proven strategies to help your garden flourish.

Beginning Watercolor Workshop - May 5th
Tue 10am-2pm Falmouth

Cost: $105.00 ($80.00 + $25.00 materials fee). Materials are for use during theworkshop. Students will take home all their paintings.

Essential watercolor techniques including washes, glazing, and wet-on-wet
Color mixing and palette management
How to control water and pigment for desired effects

After mastering the fundamentals in the morning, we'll break for lunch before applying your new skills to create a beautiful guided watercolor painting of a plant or flowers from the Skillins Nursery.

You'll leave with a finished piece, your exercise pieces to refresh your memory, a list of basic supplies and the confidence to continue your watercolor journey.
All professional quality materials are provided. Perfect for absolute beginners who have always wanted to try watercolor painting!
